Assistant Scientist (Chemistry)
Provide assistance to scientists with sample preparation, methods development, instrument maintenance and ordering of supplies. Collaborate and coordinate with different groups for transfer of developed methods and running of samples on different instruments.
Requirements: BS or MS in Chemistry; Course work and laboratory experience with basic organic, physical and analytical chemistry. Basic understanding of GC, LC and CE for separations and colorimetric, fluorometric and mass spectrometric methods for detection. 0-2 years experience in chromatographic or electrophoretic separation techniques. Familiarity with small scale sample preparation, extraction, derivatization and surface chemistry. Knowledge of operating GC-MS or LC-MS systems is a plus.
Bioanalytical Assistant Scientist
SurroMed, Inc. is seeking for an individual with expertise in method development and quantitative analysis of biological components in matrices such as plasma and blood using HPLC, LC-MS/MS, CE-MS, MALDI, etc. Ideal candidates must possess a BS or MS in analytical chemistry or biology along with proficiency in liquid-liquid and solid-phase extraction of analytes from biological fluids and tissues. Experience must involve development and application of quantitative analytical chromatographic methods, development and application of quantitative mass spectrometry.

Experience must involve development and application of quantitative analytical chromatographic methods, development and application of quantitative mass spectrometry. Experience in computer based data analysis and presentation skills.
