Clinical Laboratory Application Scientist
SurroMed, Inc. seeking a full time Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Medical Technologist) in our clinical laboratory. The incumbent will be

  • Responsible for a variety of clinical laboratory tests and procedures,
  • Maintaining and calibrating highly scientific equipment and monitoring related quality control activities to assure a consistent high quality product,
  • Managing laboratory related projects involving non-direct reporting structures.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree, a California license as a Clinical Lab Scientist with a minimum of 6 years supervisory experience providing service in a CLIA/GMP clinical laboratory along with excellent communication and computer skills.  Experience in the area of method validation/analysis a plus.

Clinical Laboratory Application Assistant Scientist
SurroMed, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, flexible and detail-oriented team player to provide support to the SurroMed Laboratories that provide services including CLIA certified laboratory results and services resulting from the application of SurroMed technology. An understanding of laboratory analyses and the necessary infrastructure to maintain a quality product is a plus. Duties will include (but are not limited to) monitoring/maintaining pipettes, temperatures, and reagent/other consumables orders, performing analytical tasks and analyses.
The ideal candidate should be

  • Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office;
  • Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a laboratory setting;
  • Able to interface with professionals at all levels.

A minimum of 0-3 years of laboratory experience in a clinical/scientific setting is desired. This is an ideal position for a beginning CLS/MLT looking to gain experience in a clinical laboratory setting. The incumbent must have high energy, good critical thinking skills, and enjoy the challenges of working in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
