SurroMed is committed to being involved in our community by sponsoring various volunteer opportunities for our employees. To show its support, SurroMed offers its employees 8 hours of paid time per year to volunteer with local organizations.

Past Events

• 20 SurroMed volunteers worked at the Peninsula Habitat for Humanity on July 10th. All volunteers spent 8 hours working on a town house project on company paid time.
• Collected and packaged 125 bags of toiletries and delivered to Mountain View Community Service Agency in March '02.
• Collected 261 lbs. of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank at Thanksgiving.
• Donated 55 gifts for children and needed adults as part of the Giving Tree (Holiday Program) Dec. 2001
• Delivered 5 bags of clothing to the Career Closet in San Jose to help women transitioning from welfare to work force
• Delivered 20 sweaters, 10 jackets, and other misc. items in the Coat/Blanket/Sweater drive.
• Collected 50 pairs of eye-glasses for community in Vietnam.
• Blood drive donations with the Red Cross for September 11 victims.
