Proprietary software tools for capturing, integrating, analyzing and mining disparate phenotypic data i.e., clinical, proteomic, metabolomic, cytometry, immunoassay, gene expression, genetic or other data, to identify useful biomarkers and biomarker patterns.

Using clinical and bioanalytical data from its research studies, SurroMed builds and analyzes integrated phenotypic data sets to identify useful biomarkers.

SurroMed's informatics infrastructure comprises of a proprietary database architecture and software tools for data acquisition, mining and analysis. The database's flexible configuration accommodates multiple and disparate data streams including bioanalytical results generated from analysis of patient samples on SurroMed's platform, patient electronic case report form information, and additional data streams such as SNP scores, gene expression profiles and imaging data.

All data streams are loaded automatically via software links that capture, process, and upload data from our suite of technologies. SurroMed has developed software for performing multivariate statistical analyses of these data sets, and applies advanced techniques for data-mining, including neural networks and machine learning algorithms to the identification of biomarkers and biomarker patterns.
